The option to have a windowed or windowless design allows you to customise your building to suit your exact use case. A windowed design lets a large amount of natural light in, which is fantastic for a workshop, office or even just as a more modern storage solution. The windowless variations offer your more privacy by keeping prying eyes out. Both of the variations come with tall, wide double doors with a high apex giving you a walk-in shed with great head height. Green mineral roofing felt is also included on this building to increase the products weather resistance and overall lifetime as well as helping to keep your possessions clean and dry. To improve your buildings lifetime and durability further, you can opt for our pressure treatment option, increasing your BillyOh guarantee to 15 years. Extra Tall Apex Roof. The sheds have a tall ridge height of up to 6’4″ or 6’9″ depending on the size you choose with an eaves height of 4’10 to offer increased headroom and mobility when inside the shed. For added strength and stability, all of our garden buildings feature double framed corners and have 28mm x 28mm floor joists to provide a sturdy base to support your shed. Our garden buildings come with a 10 year anti-rot promise that protects the wood on your building against rot and decay. The pressure treatment options have an increased 15 year anti-rot guarantee. With the windowed option, the SAN styrene glazed windows are shatterproof, making them a safe alternative to glass and offering natural sunlight into the building. Wide Opening Double Doors. The extra wide opening double doors have an opening size of 2’9″ x 5’4″ or 3’8″ x 5’7″ to give you enough space to move large items such as garden furniture, bikes or BBQs around your shed and provide easy in and out access. As this only lasts through the transit stage, we do advise treating the wood after installation to protect and preserve it, as well as annual maintenance. Pressure Treated: For an extra level of protection, you can opt for a pressure treated building which is an effective way of keeping the wood long lasting. This is an extra step in the manufacturing process where the wood is treated in a pressurised tank. Chemical preservatives are forced deep into the wood’s fibres to resist rot, decay and termites. When you upgrade to Pressure Treatment, the guarantee is extended from 10 to 15 years. What is tongue and groove cladding? The building should be treated once fully assembled and within one month of receiving the product. Will I need planning permission for this building? If the building is shorter than 2.5m tall you should not require planning permission, (unless it’s more than 50% of your garden or to be put in your front garden). Planning permission rules can vary by area so we would strongly recommend checking your local council rules before ordering from us. How long does it take to assemble this building? How is the building delivered? Does this come with instructions? All our products come with a digital instruction booklet, which will be emailed to you to read through before your order is delivered!
